Big Tex Boat Rentals doesn't just rent boats — they sell a feeling. A day on the lake, sun overhead, the skyline visible from the water. The experience is the product. Our job was to capture that feeling on camera and put it in front of people who hadn't booked yet but should.
The challenge with experience-based content is that generic footage falls completely flat. Lake footage is everywhere. What's rare is footage that makes a specific viewer feel like they're already there, already having a great day, already regretting not booking sooner.
The approach
We shot on location at the marina and on the water throughout a full production day. The creative approach was energy-forward: real people, real activity, real moments — nothing posed, nothing stiff. The camera moves with the experience rather than observing it from a distance.
On-water capture required nimble equipment choices and constant awareness of light. We maximized the golden-hour windows to give the footage the warmth and quality the experience deserved.
The deliverables
The production yielded a primary promo film showcasing the fleet and the lake-day experience, a series of cutdowns for social advertising and organic content, and a library of short-form edits designed for paid Meta and Google campaigns. The content gave Big Tex Boat Rentals a campaign-ready asset library for their peak season.
