Brand content for an Austin pizza institution. Captured the energy, the craft, and the culture — from dough to delivery.

Bola Pizza isn't just a restaurant — it's become part of Austin's food culture. When they approached us, they were expanding to new locations and needed content that captured what makes Bola feel different from every other pizza spot in town.

The answer was in the kitchen. Bola's process — the dough, the wood fire, the people making it — is the brand. Our job was to make people hungry before they ever tasted a slice.

The approach

One production day. In-restaurant and back-of-house. We shot during actual service hours, which meant working around real lunch traffic and a kitchen operating at full capacity. The crew stayed small and nimble — a two-camera setup that could move through tight kitchen spaces without disrupting the flow.

The visual approach is close and textural: dough stretching, flames behind the door, sauce hitting fresh mozzarella. Fast cuts during the energy peaks, longer holds when the craft deserves space to breathe.

The deliverables

A 30-second brand spot for paid social and in-restaurant display, a series of menu highlight clips for Instagram and TikTok, and a social content library of 15 individual clips for ongoing organic posting.

Bola's Instagram engagement increased significantly in the weeks following launch. The brand spot ran as a paid Meta ad and drove foot traffic at the new location during its first month of operation.
